Getting Here 

Springfield is easy to find whichever route you choose however your SatNav may bring you 300 yards short of the drive, so if you have travelled through Maenclochog continue towards New Moat village and we are on the Right opposite the "T" Junction sign posted to Penfordd. Travelling from Clarbeston Road, we are on the left hand side in between New Moat and Maenclocogh.

Arrival

We need a little time to prepare your holiday home to a high standard so do ask that you arrive for 3pm on your day of arrival or contact us direct to make alternative arrangements.

 

If you are delayed please contact us to so that we are available to make arrangements to give you the keys.

There is a full welcome pack with information, milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and sugar for drinks on arrival, if it's a chilly day we will also light the wood burner.

Departure

To allow us to prepare for our next guests we do ask that you depart before 10.30 am and we do ensure we are there for you to check out. Should you wish to leave later please let us know and dependant on our arriving guests we will try to accommodate you.

 

In order to meet Welsh Assembly targets Pembrokeshire has a strict recycling policy so please ensure you recycle your rubbish in the individual bins provided in the Pig Sty.  

 

We would  also appreciate it if you tidy up and leave the towels in the bath but please do not worry about stripping the beds. If you have had a dog with you please hoover through too.

Please do not attempt to empty the ash from the wood burner and there is no need to strip the beds.

What's Included

We have tried to make your stay in the cottages as relaxing as possible so there are no hidden extras or charges. We have included all linen and towelling, electricity, hot water, heating and logs for the wood burner. You will, however need your own beach towels.

Extra Bits

WiFi - is available in the cottage, please be aware though, due to the location broadband speeds are around 2-4 Mb's, so OK for web browsing and emails, but TV or film streaming is not always possible.

 

The "Pig Sty" provides storage solely for the cottage, it is perfect for bikes, pushchairs etc. It is also used to hold the cottage's garden furniture cushions and garden toys.

 

We encourage recycling so provide clearly marked facilities in the pig sty and bin for black bags

Adequate logs and kindling are supplied for your stay and stored in the pig sty.

Shopping and Supplies on Arrival 

Maencholog, the next village to New Moat is around 5 minutes by car and has a general store, post office, two petrol stations and a pub, so initial supplies are available on your arrival. Alternatively Tesco will deliver to SA63 4RY. 

 

There is also a Tesco's, M&S, Morrisons, Lidl and Aldi around 20 minutes away in Haverfordwest

 

Bethesda Farm shop is only 10 minutes drive away with a fantastic range of local fresh produce and one of the best breakfasts in the area.

 

The Tafarn Sinc in Rosebush features in the good pub guide and serves food, but booking is advisable.

 

Haverfordwest is around 20 minutes away with many of the fast food chains and the market town of Narbeth with a full range of independent restaurants and takeaways is also close by.
